1. Who we are

ASDRY is operated by ASDRY LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom.

Registered address: ASDRY LTD, Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom.

Company number: 15010407.

Contact email: info@asdry.com.

ASDRY® is a registered trademark.

2. Who can use ASDRY

You must be at least 16 years old to create an ASDRY account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement.

3. Information we collect

We collect the information needed to provide ASDRY, generate reports, manage accounts, improve the service, and meet legal or operational requirements.

This may include:

  • Account information, including your email address and account plan.
  • Privacy notice acceptance records and consent preferences.
  • Product update and marketing email preferences.
  • Activity check details, such as activity type, date, time, environment, and check name.
  • Location information supplied by you, including place names, postcodes, or latitude and longitude coordinates when you use current location.
  • Weather and environmental data used to generate reports, including forecast data obtained from third-party weather and environmental data providers.
  • Generated reports, guidance, engine outputs, scores, decisions, and summaries.
  • Feedback you submit, including useful/not useful responses, feedback reasons, and optional notes.
  • Service usage information collected through Google Analytics.

4. Location information

ASDRY uses location information to generate weather-based and environmental preparation guidance. This may include a postcode, place name, or coordinates provided by your device when you choose to use current location.

ASDRY does not intentionally track your location continuously. Location information is used and stored as part of the specific checks and reports you create.

5. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your ASDRY account.
  • Generate Free, Pro, and Business reports.
  • Store your report history so you can view previous checks.
  • Provide data export and account deletion features.
  • Record privacy notice acceptance and email preferences.
  • Improve report wording, activity guidance, engine validation, and product quality.
  • Understand service usage through analytics.
  • Maintain security, reliability, audit records, and service integrity.

6. Feedback and product improvement

ASDRY allows users to give feedback on reports and report sections. Feedback may be linked to the related report and account while your account is active. We use this feedback to improve report quality, wording, engine behaviour, validation, safety monitoring, and the overall user experience.

7. Anonymous feedback after deletion

When an account deletion request is completed, personal account data, report history, and linked feedback are removed or anonymised. ASDRY may retain anonymous feedback facts, aggregated statistics, validation records, and engine improvement data where that information can no longer identify an individual.

Anonymous retained records may include general items such as activity type, environment type, decision status, primary driver, AERS band, whether feedback was useful, feedback reason, and a date bucket. These retained records do not include email addresses, user IDs, names, postcodes, coordinates, report text, or account identifiers.

8. Data export and account deletion

You can request or download a copy of your ASDRY data through your account. The export may include your profile information, report history, advice logs, and feedback linked to your account.

You can request account deletion through your account. ASDRY uses a deletion workflow where the request is recorded and then completed. When deletion is completed, your authentication account is removed, your ASDRY profile is anonymised, report history and linked feedback are deleted, and deletion timestamps are retained for audit and service integrity.

9. Third-party services

ASDRY uses trusted third-party services to operate the app:

  • Supabase for authentication.
  • Neon for database storage.
  • Render for hosting and application infrastructure.
  • Third-party weather, environmental, geolocation, and mapping data providers to generate reports and preparation guidance. These providers may include OpenWeather as a fallback and may change over time as the service develops.
  • Google Analytics for usage analytics.
  • Stripe for payment processing when paid plans are introduced.

These providers may process information according to their own privacy and security practices. ASDRY does not use Google, Facebook, or Apple social login.

10. Payments

ASDRY may offer Free, Pro, and Business plans. When paid plans are introduced, payments will be handled by Stripe. ASDRY does not intend to store full payment card details directly in its own database.

11. Analytics and cookies

ASDRY uses Google Analytics to understand how the service is used and to improve the product. Cookies and similar technologies may also be used for essential account, security, and session functionality. More information is available in our Cookies Policy.

12. How long we keep information

Account information, reports, advice logs, and feedback are kept while your account remains active, unless they are deleted earlier as part of service operation or maintenance. When your account deletion request is completed, personal account data and linked report data are deleted or anonymised.

Anonymous feedback facts, aggregated statistics, validation data, and engine improvement records may be retained indefinitely where they can no longer identify an individual user.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect ASDRY data. No online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to keep the service reliable, access-controlled, and appropriately protected.

14. Your rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete your personal information. You may also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your data is handled.

ASDRY LTD intends to register with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Once registration is complete, this policy may be updated to include the ICO registration number.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as ASDRY develops, including when new plans, payment features, analytics features, or report types are introduced. If we make significant changes, we may ask users to accept the updated policy before continuing to use the service.
